General FAQs

  • Why do I need paint protection?

Paint protection preserves your car’s appearance by shielding it from road debris, UV rays, and harsh weather. Without it, your car's paint can fade, chip, or lose its shine over time, leading to expensive repairs and reducing its value.

  • How long will you need my car for?

The time we need varies based on the service. For Ceramic Coating, it’s typically a full day. Paint Protection Film or more extensive services might take longer. We’ll give you a detailed timeline based on your chosen service.

  • Can you repair rock chips and remove scratches?

Yes, we specialize in repairing rock chips and scratches, but it's important to note that not all damage can be fixed 100%. However, we can significantly improve the appearance of the damaged areas, often making them hardly noticeable. While a full repair may not always be possible, our touch-ups will leave your car looking much better than before, without the need for a costly repaint.

  • Do you Detail cars?

We specialize in paint protection, which is why our ceramic coating and PPF installations are superior to what a typical detailer offers. While detailing isn’t our primary service, we do have connections with highly recommended detailers in the Cincinnati area and can help get you set up with the best.

Our focus on protection ensures your vehicle stays looking its best for longer.

Ceramic Coating FAQs

  • What is a Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your car’s paint, forming a durable, hydrophobic layer that protects against environmental damage, enhances gloss, and makes washing easier.

  • What parts of my car can be Ceramic Coated?

We can apply Ceramic Coating to all exterior paint, plastics, glass, and even wheels for comprehensive protection.

  • How protected is a vehicle with a Ceramic Coating?

With a Ceramic Coating, your vehicle will be shielded from UV rays, bird droppings, tree sap, road salt, and minor scratches. It also provides long-lasting gloss and reduces the need for frequent washing.

  • How are Ceramic Coatings applied?

Our process starts with a thorough cleaning and paint correction, followed by hand-applied ceramic coating to ensure full coverage and a flawless finish.

  • Can I install a Ceramic Coating myself?

While DIY kits exist, they don't offer the same level of protection as professional-grade coatings. We use certified ceramic coatings that consumers can't buy or apply themselves, ensuring long-lasting protection and unmatched durability.

DIY products tend to wear out quicker and don't provide the same high-level defense against contaminants and environmental damage. Our coatings are applied with precision and come with warranties, giving you peace of mind and a finish that lasts for years.

  • How do Ceramic Coatings compare to what’s offered at the dealership?

Our professional-grade coatings are far more durable and offer better protection than what most dealerships provide. Dealerships often use cheap paint sealants that wear off quickly and don’t offer proper protection, unless they partner with a certified installer like us.

Our coatings are applied by professionals and are designed to last for years, providing superior defense against contaminants, UV rays, and environmental damage. Plus, we offer warranties that dealerships rarely provide.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) FAQs

  • What is Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

PPF is a clear, durable film applied to the car’s surface to protect high-impact areas from damage caused by debris, scratches, and road hazards.

  • What’s the difference between a Ceramic Coating and Paint Protection Film?

PPF protects against physical damage like rock chips and scratches, while Ceramic Coating offers a hydrophobic, glossy finish that makes maintenance easier. Many customers opt for both for complete protection.

  • How do you apply PPF to a car?

We start by cleaning and prepping the car’s surface. Then, we carefully apply the film to high-impact areas like the hood, bumper, and mirrors, ensuring seamless coverage with no bubbles.

  • Does PPF prevent rock chips?

Yes, Paint Protection Film (PPF) is specifically designed to protect your vehicle from rock chips, scratches, and other physical damage caused by road debris.

While it's highly effective, it's important to note that a sharp or large enough rock could still cause a tear in the film, but this happens rarely. PPF offers a strong layer of protection that significantly reduces the chances of paint damage.

  • How protected is a vehicle with PPF?

With PPF, your vehicle will have an invisible layer of protection that absorbs damage from rock chips, scratches, and harsh weather, keeping your paint in pristine condition.

Paint Correction FAQs

  • What is Paint Correction?

Paint correction removes imperfections like swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation from your vehicle's paint, restoring its clarity and shine. After correction, we recommend adding Ceramic Coating or PPF to keep your car protected.

  • Can you repair rock chips and remove scratches?

Yes, we specialize in fixing rock chips and scratches. While not every scratch can be 100% removed without repainting, we aim to make them nearly invisible.

Cosmetic Repair FAQs

  • What is Cosmetic Repair?

Cosmetic repair involves fixing minor damages like rock chips, small scratches, scuffs, and blemishes on your car's exterior. It’s a cost-effective alternative to full bodywork and helps restore your vehicle’s appearance without needing an entire repaint.

  • Can you remove all scratches completely?

While we can repair most minor scratches and make them nearly invisible, deeper scratches may require more extensive work. Our goal is to achieve about 95% perfection for most touch-ups, but we’ll assess each scratch and let you know what to expect.

  • What is Rock Chip Repair, and how does it work?

Rock chip repair involves filling in small chips caused by debris hitting your car while driving. We use special products to blend the repair with your existing paint, restoring the look of your vehicle without the need for a new paint job.

  • Will I need to repaint my car for cosmetic repairs?

In most cases, you won't need a full repaint. Cosmetic repair focuses on touch-ups and spot repairs, saving you time and money by fixing only the affected areas.

  • How long do cosmetic repairs take?

Most cosmetic repairs, such as rock chip or scratch repairs, can be completed within a few hours. However, the timeline can vary based on the extent of the damage. We’ll give you a clear timeframe when you book your service.

  • Can cosmetic repairs help maintain the resale value of my car?

Yes! Repairing scratches, chips, and other imperfections can significantly improve your car’s appearance and help maintain or increase its resale value. Minor damages, if left unrepaired, can lead to larger issues over time.

  • How do cosmetic repairs compare to full body shop work?

Cosmetic repairs are a more affordable and quicker solution for minor damages compared to the extensive work done at a body shop. While a body shop may be needed for larger dents or deep damage, cosmetic repair can restore most small imperfections at a fraction of the cost.

  • Do I need to schedule an assessment for cosmetic repairs?

Yes, we recommend scheduling a free in-person assessment so we can evaluate the damage and give you an accurate quote. This allows us to determine the best repair method for your vehicle.

  • Do you offer Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)?

Yes, while Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) isn't one of our primary services, we do offer it. PDR is a great option for fixing minor dents without needing a full repaint. If you're dealing with small dings or dents, we can help improve the appearance of your vehicle quickly and affordably.
